Wie bekomme ich Zugriff auf meine Kryptowerte?

Ihre Kryptowerte werden weiterhin auf der eToro Plattform verwaltet und können dort auch verkauft werden (https://www.etoro.com/de/login). eToro bleibt daher Ihr erster Ansprechpartner für die Verfügung über Ihre Kryptowerte.

Tangany selbst bietet keine Wallet App, Web-Benutzeroberfläche oder Login-Konten für Endkunden an.

Die eToro-Wallet App ist nicht länger verfügbar. Ihre Kryptowerte sind nun ebenfalls über die eToro-Plattform verfügbar.

Was ändert sich für mich, nachdem Tangany die Verwahrung übernimmt?

Der Wechsel der Verwahrung wird im Hintergrund stattfinden. Für Sie als Kunden von eToro ändert sich nichts. Sie verwalten Ihre Kryptowerte unverändert über die eToro Plattform. Tangany kann keine Vermögenswerte in Ihrem Auftrag kaufen oder verkaufen.

Ist es möglich, meine Kryptowerte von Tangany an private externe Wallets zu senden?

Eine Übertragung an regulierte Kryptoverwahrer in Deutschland sowie an andere Zieladressen (Eigenverwahrung oder ausländische Betreiber) ist möglich.

Wir raten jedoch aus Sicherheitsgründen und vor dem Hintergrund der Fehleranfälligkeit dringend davon ab. 

Es besteht die Gefahr unwiederbringlicher Verluste u.a. durch:

• Eine fehlerhafte Angabe der Wallet Adresse. 

• Eine fehlende Angabe der Memo (Börsentransfer).

• Eine Übertragungs-Anweisung auf ein inkompatibles Wallet (z.B. MATIC (ERC20) auf ein Polygon Wallet).

Sie, als Kunde, sind für die Richtigkeit und Vollständigkeit aller Informationen verantwortlich, die für eine erfolgreiche Übertragung Ihrer Kryptowährungen notwendig sind.

Mit welcher Bearbeitungszeit muss ich für die Übertragung rechnen?

Der Übertragungsvorgang (inkl. Bearbeitungszeit) kann ca. zehn Arbeitstage in Anspruch nehmen.

1. Identitätsverifizierung: Möglicherweise wird Ihre Identität telefonisch überprüft, um Betrugsversuche zu vermeiden. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Kontaktdaten korrekt sind und nehmen Sie auch Anrufe von ausländischen Nummern an. Der Kontakt erfolgt möglicherweise in englischer Sprache, aber Sie können einen erneuten Anruf in deutscher Sprache verlangen.

2. Überprüfungsdauer: Nach Abschluss der Identitätsprüfung erhalten Sie innerhalb von zehn Arbeitstagen eine Bestätigung per E-Mail. Diese E-Mail wird Ihnen von eToro zugesandt.

3. Übertragungsdauer: Ihre Kryptowerte werden ca. 24 Stunden vor Erhalt der Bestätigung aus Ihrem Konto ausgebucht, um doppelte Verfügungen zu vermeiden. Bitte sehen Sie von Nachfragen in dieser Zeit ab.

Bitte beachten Sie diese Zeitrahmen und halten Sie sich bereit für mögliche Anrufe zur Identitätsüberprüfung.

Entstehen mir Kosten durch die Übertragung der Kryptowerte an Tangany?

Die Übertragung Ihrer Kryptowerte und deren Verwahrung durch Tangany ist für Sie kostenfrei.

Was passiert im Falle einer Tangany Insolvenz?

Tangany verwahrt die Kryptowerte der Endkunden streng getrennt vom Unternehmensvermögen. Auch im Fall einer Insolvenz ist die Zuordnung der verwahrten Kryptowerte zu den Endkunden gewährleistet.

Als regulierter Finanzdienstleister wird das Institut durch BaFin und Bundesbank beaufsichtigt und muss seine Eigenkapitalsituation quartalsweise melden.

Warum unterstützt Tangany FIL, NEO, THETA und LUNC* nicht?

Tangany unterstützt technologisch bedingt nicht alle Kryptowerte, die derzeit von eToro angeboten werden. Bei einigen wenigen Kryptowerten ist eine Übertragung daher nicht möglich.

Das Delisting von Assets ist ein normaler Vorgang von Börsen. Die Bereitstellung eines Assets im Handel und der Verwahrung ist ein kostspieliger Vorgang, der sich nur lohnt, wenn es ausreichend Nachfrage gibt.

*Tangany unterstützt nur LUNA Classic nicht. LUNA2 wird unterstützt.

Muss ich ein Konto bei Tangany eröffnen oder anderweitig tätig werden?

Nein, Sie müssen nichts weiter tun, als den AGBs zuzustimmen.

Kann IOTA an Tangany übertragen werden?

Aus technischen Gründen ist eine Übertragung von (M) IOTA an Tangany nicht möglich. eToro bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, diese in Wrapped IOTA auf der Binance Smart Chain zu wandeln (BEP-20 Standard). Nur als Wrapped IOTA können diese Kryptowerte dann an Tangany übertragen werden.

Wenn Sie damit einverstanden sind, müssen Sie nichts weiter unternehmen. Der Prozess wird von eToro am 21.01.2024 automatisch durchgeführt.

Handelt es sich bei den Kryptowährungen, die an Tangany übertragen werden, um echte Token?

Bei Kryptowerten, die an Tangany übertragen und von Tangany verwahrt werden, handelt es sich ausschließlich um Kryptowerte ("Token") nach KWG. Es werden keine CFDs oder andere Finanzprodukte übertragen.

Wer ist Tangany?

Tangany wurde 2019 in München gegründet, wird von der deutschen BaFin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) reguliert und ist Inhaber der deutschen Kryptoverwahrlizenz und der vorläufigen Lizenz zur Kryptowertpapierregisterführung.

Wir bieten eine marktführende B2B-Lösung für die Verwahrung digitaler Vermögenswerte auf Blockchain-Protokollen (z.B. Kryptowährungen, tokenisierte Wertpapiere, NFTs) und agieren im Hintergrund als Dienstleister für mehr als 50 institutionelle Kunden. Wie werden meine Vermögenswerte bei Tangany verwahrt und ihre Sicherheit gewährleistet?

Tangany ist im Auftrag von eToro für die sichere Verwahrung Ihrer Kryptowerte in Blockchain-Wallets zuständig. Alle Kundenvermögen werden mit modernsten kryptografischen Technologien wie HSM (Hardware Security Module) und MPC (Multi-Party Computation) geschützt. Der Private Key, der Zugriff auf die Blockchain-Wallets ermöglicht, kann bei keiner der verwendeten Technologien von uns oder anderen ausgelesen werden.

Tangany unterliegt regelmäßigen Sicherheitsprüfungen durch die deutschen Aufsichtsbehörden und spezialisierte Audit- und Zertifizierungsunternehmen.

How do I get access to my crypto assets?

You will continue to be able to manage and sell your crypto assets on the eToro platform (https://www.etoro.com/de/login). eToro remains your first point of contact for the management of your crypto assets.

Tangany does not offer a wallet app, web user interface or login accounts for end customers.

The eToro Wallet app is no longer available. Your crypto assets are now also available via the eToro platform.

What will change for me after Tangany takes over custody?

The change of custody will take place in the background. Nothing will change for you as an eToro customer. You will continue to manage your crypto assets via the eToro platform. Tangany cannot buy or sell assets on your behalf.

Is it possible to send my crypto assets from Tangany to private external wallets?

Withdrawals to regulated crypto custodians in Germany as well as to other wallet addresses (self-custody or foreign operators) is possible.

However, we strongly advise against this for security reasons and in view of the susceptibility to errors. 

There is a risk of irretrievable losses due to, among other things

• Incorrect specification of the wallet address. 

• Failure to specify the memo (exchange transfer).

• A transfer instruction to an incompatible wallet (e.g. MATIC (ERC20) to a Polygon wallet).

As the customer, you are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information required for a successful transfer of your cryptocurrencies.

What processing time should I expect for a transfer?

The transfer process (including processing time) can take around ten working days.

1. Identity verification: Your identity may be verified by telephone to avoid attempts at fraud. Please ensure that your contact details are correct and also accept calls from foreign numbers. The contact may be in English, but you can request to be called again in German.

2. Verification time: Once the identity check has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email within ten working days. This email will be sent to you by eToro.

3. Transfer time: Your crypto assets will be removed from your account approximately 24 hours before you receive the confirmation to avoid double withdrawals. Please refrain from making enquiries during this time.

Please be aware of these time frames and be ready for possible identity verification calls.

Will I incur any costs by my crypto assets being transferred to Tangany?

The transfer and safekeeping of your crypto assets by Tangany does not incur you any costs.

What happens in the event of a Tangany insolvency?

Tangany keeps the crypto assets of its end customers strictly separate from the company's assets. Even in the event of insolvency, the allocation of the crypto assets held in custody to the end customers is ensured.

As a regulated financial services provider, the institution is supervised by BaFin and the Bundesbank and must report its equity situation on a quarterly basis.

Why does Tangany not support FIL, NEO, THETA and LUNC*?

Tangany does not support all cryptocurrencies currently offered by eToro for technological reasons. A transfer is therefore not possible for a few cryptocurrencies.

The delisting of assets is a normal process for exchanges. The provision of an asset for trading and custody is a costly process that is only worthwhile if there is sufficient demand.

*Only LUNA Classic is not supported. LUNA2 is supported.

Do I need to open an account with Tangany or take any other action?

No, you do not need to do anything other than agree to the terms and conditions.

Can IOTA be transferred to Tangany?

For technical reasons, it is not possible to transfer (M) IOTA to Tangany. eToro offers you the option to swap them into wrapped IOTA on the Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20 standard). Only wrapped IOTA can be transferred to Tangany.

If you agree to the swap, you do not need to do anything else. The process will be carried out automatically by eToro on 21/01/2024.

Are the cryptocurrencies that are transferred to Tangany real tokens?

Crypto assets transferred to Tangany and held in custody by Tangany are exclusively crypto assets ("tokens") in accordance with the German Banking Act. No CFDs or other financial products are transferred.

Who is Tangany?

Tangany was founded in Munich in 2019, is regulated by the German BaFin (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) and holds the German crypto custody licence and the preliminary crypto securities registry licence.

We offer a market-leading B2B solution for the custody of digital assets on blockchain protocols (e.g. cryptocurrencies, tokenised securities, NFTs) and act in the background as a service provider for more than 50 institutional clients. These clients are mainly large banks, trading platforms, corporations and fintechs.

How does Tangany secure my assets?

Tangany is responsible for the safekeeping of your crypto assets in blockchain wallets on behalf of eToro. All client assets are protected with state-of-the-art cryptographic technologies such as HSM (Hardware Security Module) and MPC (Multi-Party Computation). The private key that enables access to the blockchain wallets cannot be accessed by us or others at any time.

Tangany is subject to regular security checks by the German supervisory authorities and specialised audit and certification companies.
